AUO’s 6-inch transparent AMOLED display has achieved a transparency rate of more than 35% and is perfectly matched for cellphone and vehicle dashboard use. AUO’s 4-inch Touch AMOLED display also offers 30% less energy consumption when compared with the same class of AMOLED products. The transparent OLED achieve 400 cd/m2 brightness.

AUO’s capacity at the moment is 7000-8000 monthly substrates in their Gen-3.5 fab. In second quarter 2012 the company plans to being their Gen-4.5 fab online with a monthly capacity of 15,000 substrates.
