Samsung believe OLED-TV goes mainstream in four or five years?


Samsung has told European journalists at its 2009 European Forum that consumers expecting an Oled television from the company anytime soon shouldn't hold their breath.

Sony's XEL-1 OLED TV coming to Australia


While the 11-incher has been out in the States for a year, Sony has announced that the XEL-1 will be available in mid-April 2009 in Australia.

Final pricing is still being determined, but Sony says it will be between AU$6,000 and AU$8,000.

In the last two months Sony introduced the first OLED-TV XEL-1 in Europe for 4000 Euros.
