Incorporated in 1994, and public since 1996, Luxell is known for its original work in developing and enhancing flat panel display technologies and now provides customized display system solutions to meet the needs of its global customer base.

Luxell's founding mission was focused on the research, development and commercial licensing of enabling electroluminescent flat panel display technologies. It was through this work that Luxell was able to develop an extensive intellectual property (IP) portfolio. At the core of this portfolio is an optical interference based display contrast enhancement technology.

In recent years Luxell has focused its business activities to the development of its IP into commercially viable processes, products and services which enable the company to design, develop and manufacture customized flat panel display and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for aerospace and defence applications.

Luxell Technologies is located in a 49,000 square foot office, R&D and manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
