Apple plans to launch their tablet PC in the second half of 2010. Apple plans to launch a model with an 9.7 inch AMOLED Panel from LG Display, according to sources from component makers.

Apple want to introduce two models one with an 10.6 inch LCD TFT panel and a tablet with an 9.7 inch OLED Panel.

An 9.7 inch OLED panel are priced at the moment at 500 Dollar, so the Apple tablet with an OLED will cost about 1.500- 1700 Dollar, so there are rumors that the retail price is about 2000 Dollars.

OLED panel prices are dropping rapidly, maybe thats the reaseon why Apple delay the tablet device to get an better price.
