AUO have re-organice their AMOLED Team for the strong commitment to produce OLED-Tvs.
At the Finetech 2010 in Japan Mr. Yusin Lin OLED Technology Director at AUO introduced their direction of development for large area OLED-Tv Panels.
AUO is ready to use IGZO oxide TFT, NMOS type TFT structure to build OLED Panels.
This technolgy has strong points that ninimize the hysteresis caused by heat because the operating temperature uf this method is 200-300° lower than conventional method of crystallizing after a-Si evaporating deposition.
No word about when AUO want to introduce a OLED-Television product at the market. At FPD-2009 Auo show a 14-inch prototype.
