Cambridge-Display Technology CDT

cdt
Cambridge Display Technology (CDT) is the leading developer of technologies based on polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs).

PLEDs are the fast growing new generation of display technology and are set to replace liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and cathode ray tubes (CRTs) in many existing applications, as well as opening up exciting possibilities for new product forms such as flexible or even wearable displays.

This technology has a relatively short history, yet has already begun to be commercialised and is available to device developers, manufacturers and product designers, enabling them to enhance the operation of today's consumer products, and giving exciting new levels of performance and manufacturability.

CDT is based in Cambridge, UK, with a state of the art Technology Development Centre a few miles away at Godmanchester. Most of our highly qualified team works at these centres, but CDT also has business offices in Asia and the USA.

We leverage our technology leadership through licenses and technology transfer, forming partnerships with the leading players in the display and related fields. We have developed manufacturing skills which not only prove the practicality of our new materials but - more importantly - support our partners in evaluating and scaling up their production line investments.
