Dai Nippon Printing Co Ltd (DNP) developed the “Shining & Speaking Poster,” a poster developed by combining an OLED panel, an inorganic EL panel and a panel-like speaker.

The OLED panel displays textual information. And the inorganic EL panel is used as a backlight source to emit light from behind a color-printed film, giving animation-like effects to the image on the poster.

DNP Dai Nippon Printing Co Ltd developed a transparent conductive film that is designed to replace indium tin oxide (ITO) films.

It intends to replace ITO films used in touch panels, OLED panels and electronic paper. DNP improved the printing method and the materials so that the patterns can be uniformly formed only on the required area of the film substrate.
