Sony’s Contrast Flex OLED VAIO laptop Concept Video

Sony shows off some Mini Notebooks the Vaio Contrast concept at CES-2009. The CEO from Sony Sir Howard Stringer show the Flex OLED as a leap forward in Organic LED technology. The screen is so thin that it can bend, and wrap, and curve. Sony has shown a few potential future application on the floor, including a bracelet, a reader, and a superthin VAIO where the screen extends from the top to the bottom of where the keyboard usually ends.

Sony show wristband Design concept with flex-OLED

Sony shows
The screen, dubbed “Flex OLED” by Sony, is just a few inches across, is manufactured on a thin sheet of plastic and can be gently bent while it’s showing video.

Now at the CES-2009 Sony shows us also some new design concept including the new FLEX OLED.
