Samsung explain in an Q&A at IFA-2010 the new Super-TFT Display and that Super-Amoled is the best solution for smartphones.

Samsung developed the Super TFT technology anlongside Super-Amoled and claims that Super-TFT improves battery life. But the main reason is the lower price and the high demand of AMOLEDs for the smartphone market. We think that the Super-Tft technology is like LG-Displays Retina Display which is used from Apple.

As we expectet LG Display show a new 31 inch OLED-TV at IFA-2010. Now the management from LG Electronics give us more informations about this prototype.

LG is demonstrating the world slimmest OLED-Television at the IFA-2010. The 3D OLED-Tv is only 2.9 mm thin and does have a full HD resolution and 600 Hz. This is only a prototype but LG want to introduce this device in 2011.

We know since 18.08.2010 that LG-Electronics want to show a new 31 inch OLED-Television at IFA-2010 event. The IFA-2010 starts at 03.09.2010 and Engadget does have the first picture from the LG booth.

For a few days we report about a rumor that LG-Electronics want show a new 31-inch OLED-Televison at the IFA-2010 event in Berlin. Now the rumor is not longer a rumor, LG-Electronics Germany confirmed that the korean company will show a 31-inch OLED-Tv.
At the moment we don´t have more technical details about this new OLED panel, but we are still in contact with LG and we are at IFA-2010 to see the newest and largest panel from LG-Display.
