Novaled is now working with a European car company for the development and production of OLED lighting for cars. The objective of this partnership is to produce cars that boasts new OLED panels within the next two years.
Novaled is already in the phase of planning on production of these OLED lights in the market.

Modistech, a Korean company who ventured in the OLED industry in 2001 is at present manufacturing flexible OLEDs. This makes them the only Korean company that focuses on flexible OLED surface lighting. They are seeking and developing more ways to improve and optimize colors white, orange and red for its plans of commercializing OLEDs for desk lamps, and exterior/interior lighting for cars.

Philips announced their plans to renovate their online store specifically created to cater to OLED lighting demands.

Dietrich Bertram, head of Philip’s OLED operations in Aachen says: ‘All feedback has been good. No complaints. And no one has said there is no place for OLED lighting, when comparing with LED lamps for instance. But someone did say the price was too expensive.’

The DSE (Doosan Corporation Electro-Matreials), a Korean industrial giant is now expanding its business to include development and early commercialization of OLED lighting technology together with KITECH (Korean Institute of Industrial Technology).
