Institute for Applied Photo Physics in Dresden report a about a new record in Oled lighting.

In the journal nature, the scientist Sebastian Reineke report how they achieved this record. The scientists of Dresden achieve a device power efficiency of 90 lumen per watt.

A research group of the Dresden Technical University has achieved record energy efficiencies for OLEDs. The achievement brings the organic LED technology closer to industrial volume production.
