The chinese Tsinghua University and Visionox makes patented breakthrough in OLEDs.
The manager of Visionox Zhou Shaohua informed us that the company has developed “a new structure that is key to our patented OLED technology“.
“The invention obtains single color emission through a composite light emitting layer that prolongs the operational life of OLEDs by 20 times,” Zhou said.
Visionox a chinese company is ready to start there trial production AMOLED line in Kunshan. Visionox want to produce 3 to 12 inch panels and later they will expand to 12 to 17 inch OLED devices for Netbooks, Notebooks, computer monitors.
Visionox production line is the first AMOLED line in China, market observers noted.

Visionox and Tsinghua University began manufacturing screens on China’s first organic light emitting diode (OLED) production line in Kunshan, Jiangsu province on Wednesday, reports Cena.com.cn.
Visionox is setting up an OLED panel plant in Kunshan, Jiangsu, and will start mass production in October 2008. vice-president Wan, Boquan stated that equipment has been install and tested.
Beijing Visionox says that the company’s OLED facility in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, which is said to be the first of its kind in China, will be formally opened in the second half of 2008.
