The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) support the government of Guangdong provice to build a OLED base.
Also an OLED industry alliance was established among the 20 Guangdong-based companies and institutes, including IRICO Group Electronics Co., Ltd., China Display Technology Co., Ltd., Anwell Technologies Ltd., Truly International Holdings Ltd., TCL Corp. (SZSE: 000100), and Sun Yat-Sen University.
The MIIT has agreed to support the Guangdong OLED industry’s exemplary application, innovation, industry chain construction, and human resource development. Local OLED makers like IRICO Group and China Display Tech are encouraged to explore a characteristic model for the Chinese flat panel display industry.
