AUO recruit new employees for the OLED production line

AUO announced that the company plans to recruit 2.500 new employees in 2010. The new staff are for the core business LCD panel production, photovoltaic and their new OLED business.
The panel maker said it is headhunting for fresh college graduates, personnel with some work experience, as well as managers, from Taiwan and overseas.

AUO start OLED mass production in 2011

AU Optronics (AUO) want to start its OLED production line in 2011 says there CEO, LJ Chen.
The production line will be a 3.5G LTPS line, with this AUO can produce small to medium size OLED panels.
Yu Precision to supply AUO with $29 billion worth of AMOLED Manufacturing Equipment
Taiwan's Yu Precision signed a contract with AUO (AU Optronics Corp) to supply 33 billion worth of active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) manufacturing equipment.
This deal is a huge step in the two companies' history. Yu Precision will enable AUO to reach their goal of becoming the world leader in the OLED market.
AU Optronics had planned to produce OLED panels and released a 14" OLED HDTV last year.

AU Optronics showcased at the FPD International event in Japan their 14-inch OLED Panel with Full HD resolution. AUO says that they are ready to start mass production of it. The resolution of that OLED Display is 157 ppi.
