iRiver E200 PMP introduced

Now it is official. iRiver has introduced the new iRiver E200 PMP.

The gadget comes jam packed with a 2.8-inch AM-OLED display and supports FLAC, RMVB and Xvid file formats. Available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions, the E200 also has an FM tuner. But at the moment they don't have named any price.

Iriver E200 with 2.8-inch OLED

Now there are the first pictures available from the new Iriver E200 with an brighter AM-OLED screen.

The buttons are now touch-sensitive hardware, instead of the clunky old directional pad. The Iriver E200 plays RMVB, MPEG-4 SP, WMV9 SP, XVID SP and MP3, WMA, OGG, and FLAC.

iriver launch Libre e-book reader in Japan

Iriver Japan launch its electronic book (e-book) reader "Libre" in Japan within 2009.

The Libre is produced by PVI Prime View International LTD of Taiwan. The e-book reader is combined it with Foxit Software Company's software, such as the one that browses online news articles and converts them into PDF files.

The 6-inch e-paper display does have a 800x600 pixel resolution. The Libre does not have Wlan or something else. The commonucation and information must be transferred via USB or memory card. The price is about 310 US Dollar.

iRiver P20 will be released in Japan soon, for 435 Dollar

The iRiver P20 features a 4.1-inch AMOLED screen with 480×272 pixel display with ability to provide 12-hours of audio, 9-hours of video, or 8-hours of DMB contents from a host of multimedia formats to FM radio, voice recording, gaming and viewing office documents.

The memory is 80 GB, but iRiver plans also a 120 GB version.

The iRiver P20 will be released in Japan by the end of the february 2009, and will sell for 435$.
