OLEDNET completed their Annual Report of the OLED industry in 2009 wherein they also included their expectations for the year 2010.

Lg Display informed us that they launch the 15EL9500 world largest OLED Television device in Europe. The 15 inch OLED Tv starts in May on the austrian market. The price of the 15EL9500 is 1.999.- Euros!

At the ISE-2010 LG Electronics show also the world largest OLED Panel the EL9500. It is a 15 inch AMOLED-TV LG Display named EL9500. The LG staff at the booth told us the same like the CES-2010 staff. LG Display want to introduce the AMOLED-TV middle 2010 in the United States.
At the moment the management doesn't make any decision right now about the market entry in europe.

The key infos are that LG Display does have big plans with the OLED Technology.

LG Display plans to start operation of an additional line of its eighth-generation LCD plant and to focus on new growth areas such as 3-D display, solar cells, e-paper and OLED this year, its CEO Kwon Young-soo said. Kwon Young says: "We may start to produce 30-inch OLED TV panels in 2012."

LG Display, the world's No. 2 flat-panel maker, yesterday posted an operating profit in line with market forecasts, with the company expecting profit to improve in the current quarter.

There are some rumors that LG Electronics want to roll out a new mobile phone called Apollo with Windows Mobile 7.
The display is a 3.8-inch capacitive AMOLED Display “Multitouch Supported the resolution is WXGA 1280 x 720 px. Launching: August/September 2010
This must be a completly new AMOLED Display, Samsung Mobile Displays does not have this display in there portfolio. Or LG Display produce this AMOLED?

LG Display introduce the EL9500 it is an 15 inch OLED TV Panel

LG Display told us that the Panel is a Water resistant Display.

LG announced at the CES-2010 that they want to produce a larger < 15 inch OLED TV Panel. The 15 inch OLED-TV panel comes to the stores in UK (Europe) later this year.
