LG Group announced that they will concentrate on four areas when it comes to R&D investments: solar cells, lighting, next-generation batteries, as well as integrated heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. And because OLED Lighting is one of the most promising lighting technologies today, LG Chem will also focus on developing raw materials for OLED Lighting products.

At the ISE-2010 LG Electronics show also the world largest OLED Panel the EL9500. It is a 15 inch AMOLED-TV LG Display named EL9500. The LG staff at the booth told us the same like the CES-2010 staff. LG Display want to introduce the AMOLED-TV middle 2010 in the United States.
At the moment the management doesn't make any decision right now about the market entry in europe.

There are some rumors that LG Electronics want to roll out a new mobile phone called Apollo with Windows Mobile 7.

LG Display strengthen their OLED business and will launch an patent administrator called LG-OLED!
This workgroup jointly financed by LG Electronics, LG Display, and LG Chem launched before the end of this year.

LG Display roll out the 15-inch OLED-Television device this week in Korea. This 15-inch panel is the largest commercial available OLED Display .
LG Display sell the 15-inch Panel in South Korea for 3 million won per unit that are about 2.500.- Dollar.

LG Electronics will unveil the world's slimmest LED LCD TV LH95 at the upcoming CES 2009 held in Las Vegas.

Featuring 24.8mm thickness, the LH95 supports 240Hz TrueMotion Drive technology and 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Sonys XEL-1 the first OLED-Televsion does have a contrast about 1.000.000:1. The LH95 does have a dynamic contrast about 2.000.000:1!

According to the company, this LED LCD TV is 2009 CES Innovation Award winners in the Display category. No word about price, resolution!

LG's latest 3" full touch screen phone, the LG SU100, has been unveiled at KES 2008 in Korea alongside the Franklin planner.

1T-SRAM dual-port display macros are designed specifically for mobile handset applications, such as those included in the LG Electronics AMOLED-based display.

LG SH150A specs include support for 7.2 Mbps HSDPA data networks, 2 megapixel and VGA cameras, 800 mAh battery with 150 hrs talk/150 hrs stand-by times and $400 pricetag.

Samsung Electronics released AM OLED earlier than the initial plan of early next year.
