DNP Produces Transparent Conductive Film to replace ITO

DNP Dai Nippon Printing Co Ltd developed a transparent conductive film that is designed to replace indium tin oxide (ITO) films.
It intends to replace ITO films used in touch panels, OLED panels and electronic paper. DNP improved the printing method and the materials so that the patterns can be uniformly formed only on the required area of the film substrate.
DNP beginn shipping the first samples in May 2009, and want to start the production during end of 2009. DNP expects sales of 30M$ yearly of the new film by 2012.
