eMagin Corporation (OTC:EMAN), a leader in OLED and personal display technologies, will demonstrate the latest innovations in power-efficient microdisplays and applications in Washington State’s booth at the 2007 China Hi-Tech Fair. The exhibition will be held in the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition from October 12 through 17.

Visitors to the eMagin exhibit will be able to experience virtual imaging first hand with a modification of eMagin’s award-winning Z800 3DVisor(TM) from e-MDT that delivers 3D video from a portable video player. They can also examine the latest active-matrix OLED microdisplays. OLEDs have proven the most power-efficient and rugged microdisplay products available. They are currently employed in military, industrial, and medical systems, as well as some early consumer products.

eMagin’s new SVGA-3DS microdisplay offers both analog and digital signal processing in a compact display (0.44-inch) with greater power efficiency. This high-density OLED-on-silicon microdisplay promises an affordable, easy-to-integrate solution for many virtual imaging systems. eMagin’s SVGA-3DS microdisplays eliminate the need for extra circuitry and components while allowing for a smaller display module design with increased functionality, with no increase in power consumption.

The company will also demonstrate its OLED-XL(TM) SVGA+ and SVGA 3D microdisplays. Built on eMagin’s original active matrix SVGA-3D and SVGA+ integrated circuits, the current OLED-XL displays typically demonstrate 4X improvements in efficiency of the original products. This gain in efficiency enables the OLED-XL microdisplays to provide significantly higher luminance at levels power consumption equivalent than those required by the company’s industry-leading first and second generation products.
