ETRI Develops Highly Efficient OLED Light Source

Etri has developed a highly efficient OLED light source that can replace widely used incandescent bulbs, a state-run electronic laboratory.
Last week also the german IAPP announced some new record. The scientists of Dresden achieve a device power efficiency of 90 lumen per watt.
Now Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) from South Korea are announcing also some new light source which can attain 70 lumens per watt, which is more than four times the efficiency of regular light bulbs that account for roughly 50 percent of the world's lighting market.
