German OLED-consortium develops new OLED-Signage Samples for car applications

The German Research Consortium Caro (car OLED) developed new signage samples which are based on highly-transparent as well as non transparent Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs). The OPTREX Europe GmbH worked closely together with Fraunhofer Institutes IPMS and IAP. Based on the Novaled PIN OLEDTM technology OPTREX managed to build a highly transparent device which exceeds state of the art transparencies of some 50% by far.
