Global OLED Technology, LLC (GOT), signed a patent license agreement with Panasonic Idemitsu OLED Lighting, Co., Ltd. (PIOL). PIOL is granted the right to use certain GOT OLED lighting patents in connection with its commercialization of OLED lighting panels. Under the license, PIOL will pay a running royalty, with some of it being pre-paid, for a specified term.
In 2009, Global OLED Technology, LLC (GOT) acquired substantially all of the assets of the OLED business owned and incubated by Eastman Kodak Company beginning in the late 1970′s. GOT continues to invest in fully developing the rich patent portfolio in the OLED technology and is committed to the continued development of the OLED technology industry through the licensing of its patent portfolio. With over 1000 granted patents worldwide, GOT’s patent portfolio is available for licensing in OLED display and lighting technology applications.
