There are some rumors that Google want to introduce their branded mobile-phone, the GOOGLE-PHONE Techcrunch thinks that Google is building their own branded phone that they’ll sell directly and through retailers.

There are rumors that Samsung or LG is building the new Google phone. If its Samsung its for sure the Google phone will have a AMOLED.

The Google phone does exist. It has been given to a few of Google’s selected employees for testing purpose.

On one of its blog, Google confirmed that an Android Phone which was built by a partner was handed over to some selected employees of Google for testing. Google said that this was a new concept of a mobile lab, where the company would be testing out the new features and capabilities.The Google Phone is also believed to have a high resolution OLED touch screen and is supposed to be very fast.
The Google Phone is made by HTC, runs Android 2.1 and it might be launched as soon as January 2010.
