At the LG CES-2012 press conference LG introduce the 55 inch 3D OLED-Tv which is 4 mm thin and weights only 7.5 kg.
Nothing new at the press conference about the world largest OLED-Television. NO word about price or availability.

OLED is no joke. Acronyms are often hype, but damn does this set look killer. The wafer-thin screen is terrifically bright, small details pop, and colors are gorgeous, making the rest of the panels on display already look like old tech.
LG showcase a comparison between AMOLED and Lg True HD IPS Display. LG says True HD IPS Display has better resolution, low power consumption, better color accuracy!
