LG Display will invest 225.7 Million Dollars in their new OLED mass production lines.The 225.7 million dollar investment is for the 4-Gen production lines. At the 4-gen lines LG will produce small to medium sized panels for smartphones and netbooks.The 4-gen mass production lines starts in 2011.
Today LG Displays Vice president announced that in 2012 the new 5.5 gen, production system is ready to mass produce 50 inch OLED-Tv panels.
LG Displays Vice president says also that for the leader position in the small/medium segment for Amoleds its to late, but LG Display want be the leader in the OLED Tv business without any compromise.
