LG Display informed us that they want to introduce a new 3D series named “Cinema 3D TV” LW6500 to the global market.
The series includes a 42,47,55, 65 inch version which LG show for the first time at CES-2011 in Las Vegas.

LG want to show also the brand new 3D FPR (film-type patterned retarder, polarized glasses) Panel.

LG Display will focus on FPR 3D products as we believe that FPR is superior in all aspects and represents genuine 3D technology better suited to consumers.”
Because that the new technology eliminates flicker and crosstalk, supports Full-HD, enables cheap polarized glasses and is also cheap compared to earlier polarized 3D panels because LG are using a film substrate instead of glass.

LG want also show a new FPR OLED-TV at CES-2011. This is not the 31 inch panel which LG Display showcased at the IFA-2010.

LG plans also to show 3D monitors, 3D projectors, 3D PC.
