Nokia introduced today three new smartphones with AMOLED Displays. The Nokia E7, C7 and the C6-01 does have a cryptical “ClearBlack” AMOLED Display. But for us its clear that this ClearBlack Amoled is Samsung Mobile Displays SUPER-AMOLED or the new AMOLED-Plus. Engadget says in a first test that this display looks just as good as the Galaxy S’ Super AMOLED. For a few days the vice president from Samsung Mobile Display Lee Woo-Jong says that “Every manufacturer can use Super-Amoled Displays in their products.” Nokia can not use the trademark Super-Amoled so Nokia named it clearblack AMOLED Display.
The E7 has a 4″ ClearBlack AMOLED display, the C7 a 3.5″ one and the C6-01 a 3.2 inch ClearBlack.
The E7 will cost €495, the C6 will cost €260 and the C7 will cost €335.
