On the Light+Building 2010 LEDON OLED Lighting will present the first time new OLED lighting modules for the luminaire integration and luminaire prototypes based on these elements.

The LUREON module series consists on rectangular OLED modules, fabricated in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IPMS, with element dimensions of 100×100 and 100×50 mm², which can be easily combined to large area lighting by an integrated electrical bus system. The LUCEOS module series offers a hex-agonal module system based on the ORBEOS CDW-031 OLED element type fabricated by Osram Opto Semiconductors, which are especially useful in effect lighting systems. Both module series types show the benefits of OLED technology as area lighting source including homogenous lighting and extreme slim form factor.

“The module series show the first time an easy and robust integration concept of OLED lighting elements in luminaires without reduction of the OLED benefits. We want to develop for our customers based on these concepts customized solutions for the luminaire integration of OLEDs”, noted Joerg Amelung, founder and General Manager of LEDON OLED Lighting.
