Panasonic announced that the company want to introduce a smartphone serie in Europe in the first quarter 2012. Panasonic says that this smartphone features a 4.3 inch AMOLED Display with a qHD resolution. Panasonic want to sell 15 million units by March 2016. This new smartphone features waterproof, dustproof, NFC chip. The smartphones will be powered by Android.
The smartphones will be manufactured at an existing factory in Malaysia. At the moment we have no informations from who Panasonic buys the AMOLED Displays.
