Philips want to achieve a OLED lighting panel brightness efficiency of 120lm/W

Philips is one of the leading OLED lighting companies, Philips has big goals for OLED lighting panel technology.
For a few days Philips and BASF announced that they achieved a breakthrough in transparent OLEDs that allows it to be integrated in car roofs.

Philips Lumiblades OLED panels has up to 25 lm/W in different shades of white and RGB
3,000 cd/m² brightness
15,000 hours lifetime (at 50% initial brightness)
1.8 mm thin
<50 cm surface

Philips expects that the efficieny double every 2-3 years.
Now digitimes reports that the company want to reach a brightness efficiency of 120lm/W by 2019. After a big investment in Aachen 57 million dollar Philips is ready to expand the production capacitiy. Philips can produce 10 times more OLED lighting panels in the near future.
