PixDro is an innovative company, specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced industrial inkjet products.
PixDro specializes in industrial inkjet applications using special materials and processes. The key factor in PixDro inkjet systems is the vertical integration of all components, and the delivery of complete solutions. PixDro’s products integrate its special MEMS print head and peripheral systems, the ejections liquids, software, hardware and the process workflow.
PixDro’s proprietary inkjet head technology is highly flexible in terms of compatibility with a wide range of liquids. It is capable of addressing a wide variety of industrial applications, and can be fully adapted according to various specific needs.
PixDro was founded by a group of printing industry professionals with a proven track record of more than fifteen years with industrial inkjet technology. Their experience in the inkjet industry has resulted in various innovative products and technologies in the graphic arts, textile and packaging industry.
As part of the OTB-Group, PixDro products comprise state of the art technology and equipment design based on the OTB track record. This enables PixDro to provide competitive equipment concepts associated with superior mechanical and design characteristics.One of PixDro’s principal product applications is inkjet printing of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) flat displays. This activity is tied to various patents covering advanced printing techniques of organic electronic devices.
PixDro’s MEMS inkjet print-head is capable of jetting aggressive solvents used in various industrial processes. It allows printing of very precise and uniform submicron films. Thus, PixDro’s print engines can print many of the thin layers and fine lines used in OLED display manufacturing. This includes the PEDOT layer, the OLED itself, and various UV curable encapsulation layers. In addition, to its OLED display technology PixDro holds substantial IP in novel, non-display applications of OLED materials.
