The new handheld gaming console from Sony the PS Vita is now ready for shipping in Japan. Sony announced that there are massive pre-order demands for Vita.
Sony want to ship 500.000 units in Japan now the japanese company ships 700.000 units.
Sony plan to launch the PS Vita in US and in the EU on February 2012. Our freinds from TechOn make some teardown of the Vita and now there is approved that the OLED panel is made by Samsung Mobile Display.The flexible printed circuit (FPC) board connected to the panel module was printed with the characters “Samsung” and “SMD.” As we expected, the OLED panel seemed to be manufactured by Samsung Mobile Display (SMD) Co Ltd.
