Razer showcases Razer Switchblade concept based on the Intel® Atom™ processor for 3D mobile gaming.
The keyboard is based on OLED technology and dynamically changes the look of the keys based on what program is running.
Razer is now showcasing the Razer Switchblade concept device running some of the most popular video games of today. Working together with Intel, the Razer Switchblade concept is the world’s first device to use the Intel® Atom™ processor Z690 running at 1.70 GHz.
“The Razer Switchblade concept takes advantage of the Intel Atom processor, providing the performance needed to run 3D PC games in a small and light form factor to enable mobile gaming at significantly less power than a traditional laptop.”
This iteration of the Intel Atom processor is capable of running games at a higher level of performance with its faster clock speed; a 13 percent boost over previous models*.
Razer has also already announced key Chinese independent software vendors such as Tencent and ChangYou who have pledged to support game optimization for the Switchblade User Interface.
