Samsung and LG-Display to produce LCD Displays with QXGA resolution for the IPAD-3

Some industry insider says that Samsung and LG-Display receive huge orders to produce LCD panels for Apple.

The rumor says also that Apples iPad 3 will feature an improved display to support quad extended graphics (QXGA), a display resolution of 2048×1536 pixels with a 4:3 aspect ratio to provide full high definition (HD) viewing experience!

At the moment Apple have no interest to use OLED displays in their products.

Samsung Mobile Display can not deliver 9 inch OLEDs with this high resolution at the moment. Thats the reason why the IPAD-3 has a LCD Display from Samsung/LG.

  1. The latest rumors about the iPad 3 provide an output of the machine in the first quarter 2012 (production in late 2011 in Brazil) and also the arrival of a 7-inch tablet, to be offered at a price less .
