Samsung Electronics unveiled a record $23 bn investment plan for this year.
Samsung Mobile Display, will invest 2,500 bn Won to build a new AMOLED production line. The new factory should be ready in 2012. With this line Samsung want to produce large size OLED-Television panels.
In an Interview the The SMD Vice President of Engineering Brian Berkeley says in an Interview that OLED TV is no longer a “science fair” project for Samsung.
Large-size OLED TVs are viable!
