Samsung Display Co. to merge with Samsung Mobile Display to push OLED-Tv?

Samsung has decided to found a new company for its unprofitable LCD business. The new company named Samsung Display Co. and will be ramp up on 1.April 2012. The new company get 700 million dollars capital and some analyst from Daewoo Securities says that it is possible that Samsung Display will merge with Samsung Mobile Display to focus on OLED-Tv.

At the CES-2012 Samsung shows off a 55 inch Super-OLED-Tv KN55ES9600 and everyone was excited.
Samsung is reviewing to merge its LCD and OLED business,

Nam Ki Yung says. The long term direction for their displays is going to OLED.

Samsung Mobile Display is at the moment focus on small to medium AMOLED Displays for smartphones and tablets and is a joint venture with Samsung SDI.
