Now it is official! Nexus S is manufactured by Samsung, and it is the first smartphone to launch with a Contour Display. It is a 4.0 inch WVGA Super Amoled display(480×800)with curved glass screen.
Nexus S is the first phone to run Gingerbread (Android 2.3).
After December 16, Nexus S will be sold unlocked and carrier-independent initially through Best Buy stores in the U.S. and after December 20 at Carphone Warehouse stores in the UK.

The Contour Display uses a thin-profile glass panel, making Nexus S uniquely slim and trim. It’s subtle but you’ll notice.
