SMD plans to increase AMOLED production for mobile devices

SMD or Samsung Mobile Display want to buy a 3.5 G (730x460mm) AMOLED vapor deposition machine.
The deposition machine are installed in the Cheon-an factory which increase the capability to 24K when the 1st, 2nd, 3rd lines are combined.

But thats not all SMD plans to install two 3.5 machines, one of the machine early next year. With this two new machines SMD are doubling the total annual capability.

Samsung Electronics announced that 5 percent of 200 million units of mobile phones comes with an AMOLED Display (10 million units).
