Samsung Mobile Display introduce a 4.5 inch flexible AMOLED Display at the FPD-International 2010. The flexible Amoled does have a WVGA resolution.(800×480 pixels)
Samsung mobile display suggest faster response time, low power consumption. The radius of the FOLED is 1 cm with minimum of ghosting effects.
Samsung Mobile display don´t use a glass substrat they use a special plastic material to reach the high resolution and the bending property. This is a major step to mass produce Flexible Amoleds in the near future says SMD.
SMD will also introduce a 7 inch Super-Amoled display at FPD-International-2010
