An interesting statement from Sony today. He claims that in the long term OLED will be the future for both 2D and 3D Televisions and displays.

He says also that direct display technology - similar to plasma - is a better way to watch TV.

Sony shows at the CES-2010 a 24.5 inch 3d AMOLED Display. At the moment Sony plans have no plans to commercialize a new OLED TV product.
