Sony announced that the NWZ-X1000 Walkman with an touchable 3 inch Amoled with a resolution of 432×240 Pixel.
The Sony Walkman NWZ-X1051 sports 16GB of storage and the NWZ-X1061 comes with 32GB of flash memory.
Other feature highlights of the new touchscreen Walkman include 3 inch wide OLED touch screen display with WQVGA resolution, 13.5mm EX Headphones, Digital Amplifier ”S-Master,” Digital Noise Canceling, Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), Touch panel operation with hybrid button system, Integrated WiFi delivers content from internet and other services including Podcast auto download, YouTube Streaming and Music Meta Link, FM and Multi Audio/Video Codec support for MP3/WMA/AAC/L-PCM and AVC(H.264/AVC)/MPEG-4/WMV DRM.
The New Sony Walkman will be available in the summer 2009!
Against Apples Ipod the display is half an inch smaller! But it’s an AMOLED so you can expect brighter colors and better contrast.
