CEO Sir Howard Stringer to present Sonys razor thin 0.3 mm OLED prototype at the All things digital conference.
Sir Stringer declared that the prototype screen — safely stored in some sort of glass box — is a mere “0.3 millimeters” thick.
I half suspect that he misspoke and meant to say the screen is 3 millimeters thick, since 0.3 millimeters is nearly as thin as a human hair, and the new OLED screen doesn’t look that thin.
