Toppan and Casio showcase a 7.4 inch printed full colour AMOLED panel. Toppan and Casio ramped up some joint venture to produce small to medium sized OLED panels.
Now they developed a new relief printing method to produce small to medium sized AMOLED with lower production costs. The advantage of the relief printing method is that it can be patterned on the big screen even in high throughput.
Toppan and Casio show a 7.42 inch panel with a QHD resolution (960×540 pixel). The panel features a resolution of 149 ppi, a contrast ratio > 30.000 and 16.7 million colors which are 24 bit.
