Toshiba showcase a 3 inch OLED panel that is only 0.1 mm thick. The display is built by attaching an oxide semiconductor TFT to a plastic substrate. Thats the reason why this display is lighter (1g) and thinner than other flexible displays using a glass substrate.
Toshiba plans that this technology is mass production ready in 2014/2015.
