Colaheri said “formidable challenges remain to bring flexible OLEDs to the consumer market.” The center will focus on new fabrication and handling processes for plastic substrates, Colaheri added.
Flexible OLEDs could find their way into consumer devices in as little as five years, Colaheri predicted.
