Sim4tec, a leading provider of numerical simulation software for organic electronics,
will provide an interactive workshop on its OLED simulation software SimOLED®.
Participants will learn about the physics behind SimOLED® and how to set up and
calculate the electrical and optical characteristics of organic devices. A range of
example calculations will be performed, starting from simple single layer devices up
to complex 5-layer OLEDs with doped transport layers. Comparisons of simulation
and experiment of selected examples of multilayer phosphorescent OLEDs are
presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the underlying physical models of
SimOLED®.

Technical requirements:
All participants are required to bring their own laptop. Approximately one week
before the workshop, a link will be sent out to all registered participants in order
to download and install the current version of SimOLED® on the laptop.
Hardware dongles are provided for the duration of the workshop to be able to
run SimOLED®. Since only a limited number of dongles is available, we suggest
to pair up in parties of two.
